It's not often you hear about the educators behind advertising graduates, but this is an occasion to shout about a very special one.
For anyone who knew Jo Hodges, she was a bold, bonkers and brilliant tutor and friend. Leading the young minds at LCC into the world of advertising.
With her famous phrase of "I don't get it," you might have wanted to bang your head against the wall as a student, but you soon realised in the real world that it was the ultimate training ground for any Creative Director you might encounter.
Unfortunately Jo passed recently. But, in light of the news, her alumni wanted to do something positive to mark everything she had done for them. This leading on to, "I Don't Get It," a book in lessons in life and advertising.
As someone who was taught by Jo, I'd highly recommend it, as she really did know how to bring out the best in you.
