Having noticed the lack of female director credits on commercial work we thought it was time to raise the question and get talking about it. Together with Girls in Film we’re bringing together talent from film, production and advertising to start shaking up the system and addressing this.
So far we’ve got Julie Seal, Creative Director currently at Facebook Creative Shop, Emma from Free The Bid, and Zaiba Jabbar director and creator of Hervisions.
It’s at Miranda in the Ace Hotel on the 27th June. Tickets are free, but we ask for £3 upfront which will be refunded on attendance. It’s set to be a goodie so grab yours asap.
